Yesterday I worked my eye & finger muscles more than anything else. I took the advice of many and stayed off my sore hip/groin for the day. It was hard to just sit still & read all day, but I do love a good book and seeing as The Power of One is really a page-turner, I was able to sit still for most of the day. Still have about 1/4 of the book to go; I do like to savor a good book at least a little.
Today is another story. I was feeling pretty groggy, slow, cob-webby & just plain lethargic. So, I decided I had to get outside and do something for a bit. So, I decided to take Shiloh for a walk. She’s a super good dog. She never pulls & mostly heels auto-magically, so I knew it was unlikely she’d cause any problems. Plus, I could always turn around early if I needed to. Fortunately, I made the full 1.3 miles without any major pains. About 1/2 way thru my groin started talking to me, but it loosened up immediately on its own.
Now my head feels clear. Shiloh is happily napping, and I feel I can move forward with my day!

Well… good!
I am glad. Walks are always so refreshing, even on cloudy, humid days (like it is here tody).
I wish I could stay home and read a book all day.
