Had big plans to hit the restorative and then the flow class right after…until I realized it was Halloween & staying for the later class would mean missing all the adorable neighborhood pirates, ghosts, pumpkins, Barbies, witches….so in the end I just went to one class. We did loads of hamstring work & lots of seated forward bends, which are so great for my legs and low back.

Saturday I won’t be going to the free class (challenge is still on for you though Brad!). I have to visit a small winery near Marysville where we’ll be picking up our small order & meeting the amazing black lab that fetches balls by climbing up the barrels. I’ve heard tales; now to meet the real thing! Tonight I won’t be able to attend my regular Thursday flow class as I’m giving a lecture on garden coaching at the arboretum. Sure wish I could go to class then give a lecture!

Friday brings a new evening flow class to the studio with one of my favorite teachers, so I’m hoping to get back from my last client appointment in time to make that. And, I hope to hit the Saturday morning class as well. I’m feeling a bit more “back on track” with my regular practice after a couple of “off” weeks.

And, next Saturday is the inversion workshop. Its open to all levels. Those of us with more advanced practices are going to get to work on some of the really tough inversions like handstands and Scorpion, which I’ve never done & am not sure how my arms and shoulders will react to me trying. But, if I don’t try, I’ll never get there. Probably I’ll be doing a lot of forearm exercises & balances to get there. And, I’m looking forward to having a team environment so I can have someone work with me as I attempt headstand without the wall. :)
