Shiloh on the Peemail Trail
Shiloh was so peppy this morning & has had it so rough the last couple of days. I had a few minutes before my first appointment, so I leashed her up & we went for a morning walk. She was sniffing, bouncing (I think she’s part Tigger), and peeing in all the important doggie peemail [...]

Thurs Eve Yoga; Fri Morn Shiloh
I did make it to my Hatha II-III class on Thursday evening & I feel about a zillion times better for getting my practice back on track. My hamstrings were getting back to their pre-yoga super-tight habits, so class was a little tough in that department, but I had a great time & am losening [...]

Groggy Doggie & Her Medical Mystery Tour
Shiloh is home from her day at the hospital. She’s groggy and a bit grumpy, but who can blame her? She has no idea why we keep taking her to that horrible place to get poked and prodded. And today she really got poked and prodded!
Under general anethesia she underwent a colonoscopy. I wasn’t there, [...]

I go tomorrow night. I plan to go Saturday.
And maybe Sunday.
And definitely Monday.
(Oh, and Shiloh’s blood tests came back. No change in levels since she was tested this summer, so the protein is low. The new mystery [...]

Shiloh’s special disease
Somewhere along the line I’ve mentioned that Shiloh has a rare disease. Its reared its ugly head again recently. Well, actually, it reared itself this summer & we’ve been dealing with it since then. What is her disease you ask? Well, good question. It may be her disease to name at this point. (Cross your [...]

Wine is Exhausting
Today I spent most of my day with the Domanico Cellars wine “core” team pressing wine. I don’t have the energy left for details, but let’s just say there were heavy hoses thumping across my shoulders all day, filled with juice, skins, seeds and then juice that would have made Central Services proud….As well, I [...]

Shiloh Time During Wine Break
When pressing wine, there are times when many of us are just standing around. When I realized we were in the middle of one of those times on Saturday, I excused myself & grabbed Shiloh for a quick walk. She was thankful. I was glad to move my legs for a bit after standing in [...]

Near Death Traffic Experiences
I’m with Phil on the traffic. Today was a day of many vehicular near misses for me.
First, I was travelling at a crawl on I-5 after seeing my last client for the day. I was nearly at my freeway exit after crawling along for several miles. Then, I hear a “lay it on the horn” [...]
